First Days in Serbia

June 15, 2013

Gracious Living Day by DayWe arrived in Serbia a few days ago.

The weather is sunny and hot, just like the summers I remember from my childhood. We left the cold weather of Western Europe behind and entered a different world. We have jumped through a rabbit hole.

Sam, Nikki, my uncle Joep and I have been staying with family in Belgrade for a few days. Today, we are leaving for the countryside.

Here are a few pictures from our ramblings around Belgrade:

What a lovely family in Belgrade, Liliana ~~ I’m so glad you’re having a good time!!

In the third-photo-down, the burek in the foreground looks like it might be a cheese burek………… which I’m sure then translates to “soooo good,” (haha)!!

I’m following your movements as much as I can and am right there with you in spirit. Enjoy everything and everyone and don’t stress. Have some pogacice for me, and a glass of wine by the river.

Love to all!
