**Superb** writing style, Nena, with this particular topic ………… and FUNNY jokes, (hahahahaha)!!

On my mother’s side, my Family of origin is from Moravia, (i.e., now the Czech Republic) ………… and, on my father’s side, from Germany. My mother is first-generation American, and my Dad is second-generation American.

When I was reading your piece, these are the types of jokes—(with the concurrent “chiming-ins” of others present!!)—which the master storytellers in my Family tell at our Family Reunions ………… so I almost felt as if I were *AT* a Family Reunion of my own, (haha)!!
